Business Psychologist.

I love people who bet on themselves and chase their dreams. What I have found is that the achievement of those dreams isn’t solely based on talent or luck, although both are important, but a lot comes down to who you surround yourself with.

I help leaders understand the relationship we as human beings have with our work, enabling them to hire thoughtfully and produce amazing work with great people.

Who we surround ourselves with matters. We have unprecedented access to individuals, offering them a wide range of options and opportunities. The intersection of design and people is here. How you design professional opportunities and the people you choose to fulfill them is the difference maker.

Simple Books. Big Ideas.

Path Pavers – Written over two years of walks through Wisconsin woods with my shepherd, Augie. The process mirrored the book’s theme: paving your own path in the pursuit of interesting work.

Dealer’s Choice – The result of seven years of research and writing, dissecting the difference between jobs and roles and introducing a new strategic framework for role-based hiring and management.

Both works reflect my conviction that work is not just labor, but a medium of self-expression and mastery.

What Drives Me

I respect those who pave their own path.

My work is inspired by philosophy, psychology, and anthropology to explore how our relationship with work shapes who we are, become, and the lives we build.

It’s also inspired by the heroic stories of individuals(fictional and non-fictional) who dared to challenge the default.

My approach is curious analysis, not judgment. Designing creative solutions to make work enjoyable.

Beyond Work

I’m a husband and father of two daughters, rooted in Wisconsin.

I like coffee, golf (sometimes), great conversation, old books, a nice fire, and a good laugh.
